Söderblom Estate (Söderblomsgården)

Söderblomsgården was built in 1730 and was then the rectory of the socknen.

The archbishop-to-be Nathan Söderblom was born here in 1866. As an adult he went to live in Uppsala, where he spent his whole professional life in the service of the church. The Söderblom estate is now a Hälsingland Farmhouse and museum, where many memories of the great archbishop are kept. There is also a permanent exhibition about the Trönö area as well as a special exhibition about the archbishop himself.

In the summer of 2009 a 176 cm bronze statue of Nathan Söderblom was placed outside the estate. The statue was made by the artist Jan Szewczyk from Poland.
